The listening phase of Gorizia’s citizenship kicked off on October 29 as part of the socio-economic territorial study preparatory to the revision of the General Regulatory Plan, which ISIG is drafting on behalf of the City of Gorizia. For 45 days every citizen will have the opportunity to comment on the administration’s projects related to the city’s development, as well as propose new interventions, by logging on to the goriziastrategica.it website and adding their own content to the collaborative mapping portal map.goriziastrategica.it.
The study consists of a part of statistical analysis, over the period 2008-2018, and internal listening within the municipal administration. The heart of the document consists of a series of strategic visions for the future of Gorizia, aimed at defining the stages of development of the community and the territory in which it is settled. The interventions proposed by the study are divided into five thematic axes:
- “Gorizia’s green space becomes more usable.”
- “Gorizia cares for its heritage.”
- “Gorizia generates opportunities.”
- “Gorizia gets moving.”
- “Gorizia favors aggregation.”
In parallel with the collaborative mapping, the city’s stakeholders will also be consulted these days, namely representatives of institutions, agencies, economic categories, and associations.
