In recent days the TRACE Horizon Europe project held its plenary meeting in Malta, where ISIG proudly showed its progress. ISIG is actively working on defining ethical and social requirements and will soon begin work on Activity 7.3, which focuses on creating a knowledge kit and roadmap for the European logistics sector. This task will begin in the second year of the project and will involve the majority of the Consortium in developing a set of guidelines/recommendations for authorities and stakeholders for the efficient management of the TRACE platform and its technical aspects, and to reach out to a wide range of stakeholders, ranging from ICT, AV and logistics operators to entrepreneurs, researchers and decision makers.
TRACE aims to revolutionize the logistics sector by developing an intelligent platform that integrates and harmonizes various logistics operations across Europe. The project, funded under the Horizon Europe program, involves 28 partners from 11 countries, combining expertise to improve efficiency, transparency and sustainability in logistics. Key technologies include artificial intelligence, cloud computing, blockchain and autonomous vehicles, with large-scale pilot projects planned in Greece, Italy and Slovenia.
