The Youth is Leader (Giovane è Leader – GEL) project is a project promoted by the Municipality of Reana del Rojale and the Institute of International Sociology of Gorizia.
A youth empowerment workshop cycle for young people between 16 and 22 years old.
The main objective of the workshops is to develop the participants’ leadership and public speaking skills as a tool for democratic participation, active citizenship and as a means of
personal affirmation in school and public spheres. “Youth is Leader” intends to provide participants with training and information elements with a participatory approach.
The workshop cycle is based on the idea that participants are the real protagonists of the workshop cycle, structured through interactive activities, individual and group exercises, and games.
ISIG oversaw the development of the training program, the development of materials, and the implementation of the workshop cycle.
