Description:CRISAFE is a project aimed at developing a harmonized risk assessment methodology to analyze the vulnerability of urban infrastructure and population in common multi-hazard scenarios in Croatia, the Netherlands, and Italy. The assessment focuses on flood protection infrastructure, identifying weaknesses under the influence of threats such as heavy rains, floods and earthquakes. Integrating advanced methods from previous projects, CRISAFE will implement the results on the IT platforms of critical infrastructure managers and emergency responders, creating a cascading multi-hazard warning system. Through case studies in Rotterdam (Netherlands) and Zagreb (Croatia), the project aims to raise awareness of hazards and develop strategies to improve public access to hazard information.
