Client/Financer: Friuli Venezia Giulia Region (Bandi Scuola) Period: 2018 Partners: “Gabriele D’Annunzio-Max Fabiani” State Institute of Higher Secondary Education; “Brignoli-Einaudi-Marconi” State Institute of Higher Education; “Dante Alighieri” State Institute of Higher Education; “Michelangelo Buonarroti” State Institute of Higher Education; CARIGO Foundation Description: The Prato Verde project involves high school students in a simulated social enterprise school/work alternation course for the environmental/landscape enhancement of the Viatori Garden, through activities of: a) technical and operational management of the green areas and floral heritage of the Garden; b) tourism promotion of the Garden; and c) surveying the perception and expectations of the citizens of Gorizia regarding the role of the Viatori Garden for the city. In addition, students are guided in the creation and administration of a questionnaire to all students in the fourth and fifth grades to monitor their orientation, expectations and perceived needs at the time of their imminent exit from school and entry into the world of work.
