Description: Given the well-established collaboration of ISIG as a consultant to the Council of Europe on the issues of governance and local democracy, and in view of the desire to convey this experience also in the regional territory, with this project we intend to promote the involvement of the Municipalities of the FVG Region in in-formative activities on the principles of good governance, towards a European culture of dialogue, also favoring the inclusion of the participating Municipalities in the framework of the initiatives promoted by the Council of Europe. The project, in particular, aims to make a survey of the needs of municipalities in terms of training to achieve good governance practices, outlined by the Council of Europe, to foster dialogue between Local Authorities and European Institutions, and to organize dissemination and training events on the above issues.
