Description: The project was established with the aim of stimulating and helping local governments, municipalities, provinces, and other regional organizations, in climate change adaptation planning. The main focus is on responses to such emergencies. Flood safety has been the focus of the project, and the guidelines have been produced as a tool equally applicable to all types of emergencies and many other aspects of climate change adaptation, such as planning, policy making for action, and public awareness.
ISIG conducts interviews and collects/analyzes quantitative data on 11 Italian municipalities.
