Description: Research and consulting activities on Ethics and Privacy aspects inherent in the SUPER (Social Sensors for security assessment and proactive emergencies management) Project.
The project develops an integrated holistic framework to understand citizens’ reactions to emergencies in social media and, at the same time, to enable security forces and Civil Defense to fully exploit the potential of social media in their activities. ISIG is the external ethics expert as a consultant on issues related to ethical project management: reviewing and monitoring project activities, advising on compliance with legal and ethical requirements, both at the national and EU level.
