We are proud to have participated in the Carso Non Arso 2024 initiative, an important awareness-raising event on forest fire prevention, which was held on May 9 at the ISIS Galileo Galilei – Enrico Fermi – Nicolò Pacassi school in Gorizia.
Special thanks go to the Gorizia Fire Department for organizing the initiative. Together with the Autonomous Region FVG PPROTEZIONE CIVILE GORIZIA a GGasilska enota Nova Gorica Corpo Forestale Regionale Friuli Venezia Giulia, and Associazione Radioamatori Gorizia, ISIG participated in the event to present the IN4SAFETY and FirEUrisk projects, gather information on perception, concern and knowledge on issues related to land hazards.
The male and female students in attendance actively participated in various information and demonstration activities, learning the importance of active citizenship in emergency prevention and preparedness.
