Regional authorities in Friuli Venezia Giulia launched the Council of Europe’s Education in Emergencies (EDURES) toolkit with an online meeting. The toolkit aims to strengthen the resilience of education systems; its implementation through pilot programs will focus on the proactive role of schools. Several reflections at the launch event emphasized the importance of the role of civil protection systems in cooperation with schools. By embracing the EDURES toolkit and fostering a collaborative partnership, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region is setting a precedent in educational crisis management, aligning with global standards and proactively responding to the challenges of today and tomorrow.
