In recent days we have been in Finland for the second phase of the Council of Europe’s Leadership Academy program!
The chance for us as an Institute to work with local administrators in Finland is a tremendous opportunity to develop new skills, experiences and… work on good governance!
The second phase of the Leadership Academy program was attended by 20 public officials representing local authorities and newly established welfare counties.
It was also an opportunity to present the recently adopted Recommendation CM/Rec(2023)5 on the principles of good democratic governance, becoming the first legal instrument on this topic!
The Leadership Academy is part of broader initiatives contributing to the current reform on regional governance in Finland! More information about this program can be found on this link!
