On December 4, ISIG marked a significant milestone for the ODYSSEUS project by successfully conducting the first ODYSSEUS Ethics Workshop! Centered on Data Protection and Ethics, the workshop delved into the ethical requirements and risks associated with technological advances and the application of Artificial Intelligence solutions in border management. We presented the Ethics Framework of the ODYSSEUS project to all partners. The workshop also included an interactive discussion session aimed at recognizing and validating potential ethical risks and collaboratively identifying effective mitigation measures. This internal consortium workshop was a crucial step in ensuring that project developments in border management are in line with the highest ethical standards. Together, we are paving the way toward responsible innovation!
