An important opportunity to dialogue with male and female students on the relevance of issues related to participation and Civil Protection. We explored the concepts of vulnerability and resilience, and the importance of adopting participatory approaches in Civil Defense planning, with some concrete examples of local, national and European experiences and projects. An opportunity to understand how participatory processes can, starting from local needs, capacities and resources, contribute to strengthening the resilience of a community and make decision-making processes Useful, Relevant, Sustainable, and Owned.
