The Competence Center organized the steering committee meetings of the joint EU/CoE “Technical Assistance Project to Ensure Good Governance in Greece.” The project consists of two different parts, respectively focusing on inter-municipal cooperation and emergency protection services for people affected by natural and man-made disasters.
During the meetings, the main developments of the project were presented to the newly elected Greek government with a fruitful exchange on future steps. Participants included representatives from the Ministry of the Interior, the National Transparency Authority, the General Secretariat for Civil Protection, the European Commission’s Structural Reforms Support Service, as well as local partner institutions and stakeholders.
