The value of Good Governance according to its Principles

Working Group – Feb. 24-25, 2022, Strasbourg

An intense two days of discussion and debate regarding the application of the 12 Principles of Good Democratic Governance to all levels of government. ISIG was involved in a working group that focused on the contents of the “Draft Recommendation” developed by the European Committee for Democracy and Governance (CDDG). In developing this process, the working group also took as a reference the experience of implementing the European Seal of Excellence in Governance (ELoGE), promoted by the Council of EuropeCentre of Expertise for Good Governance.
