As part of the FirEUrisk research project-funded by the European research and innovation program Horizon 2020-an anonymous questionnaire was developed with the aim of collecting exploratory data with respect to the perception of human ignition factors and fire risk in the citizenry. The survey is available in the following languages:
The FirEUrisk project aims to develop, evaluate and disseminate an integrated science-based strategy in order to:
- Expand current forest fire risk assessment systems to include critical risk factors not previously considered;
- Produce effective measures in reducing current fire risk conditions;
- Adapt management strategies to climate and socio-economic changes expected in the future.
