Content: Research conducted by ISIG in 1989 had focused on the specific technique called “cross-impact analysis,” a development of the Delphi technique.
Given the current widespread interest in forecasting techniques, we now want to reintroduce researchers to the conceptual and operational framework of cross-impact analysis and the techniques behind it.
The two essays presented in this volume review the developments that led to the development of the technique and offer algorithms and an experimental program for its application.
