Description: Social workshop for the use of audio-visual arts as tools to promote intercultural dialogue and a culture of peace.
The association Collective Third Theater, in collaboration with the Institute of International Sociology of Gorizia (ISIG), is organizing on the morning of Feb. 1, an initiative aimed at the use of audio-visual arts as tools to promote intercultural dialogue and a culture of peace.
The initiative, titled “Socio-Lab Spettacolistico,” is part of the larger project “Master Roads and New Paths,” coordinated by the Third Theater Collective Association and funded by the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia (Culture Calls 2016).
The project is developed in a complementary way to the 26th International Festival “Gorizia Castle” Francesco Macedonio Prize 2016, and promotes a series of cultural activities dedicated to various topical issues, interpreted in an artistic key.
The “Socio-Lab Spettacolistico” organized by ISIG aims to foster intercultural dialogue between young people residing in Gorizia and asylum seekers housed by facilities in the area, through targeted facilitation techniques combined with discussion of selected video material.
