Description: In the context of this framework contract, ISIG is supporting the Council of Europe’s Education department in the development of the new Education Strategy 2023-2027, as well as in the development of documents, tools, and at-activities so that member states can ensure the provision of quality and inclusive education even under emergency and crisis conditions.

Activity I: FINALIZATION OF THE TOOLKIT “EDURES – Building Resilient Communities through Education”

Description: Development of a toolkit to provide assistance to policy makers and education professionals in ensuring quality education in times of emergency and crisis.

With an approach geared toward self-assessment and strategic planning and grounded in the concepts of resilience, robustness, and preparedness, the EDU-RES – Building Resilient Communities through Education toolkit offers innovative solutions to increase the potential of systems and actors, such as educational communities, and enable them to cope with or minimize the impacts of potential crises and uncertain situations.

Activity II: DIGITAL TOOL DEVELOPMENT FOR TOOLKIT “EDURES”

Description: Development of integrative digital tools for the “EDURES” toolit.

Activity III: DEVELOPMENT OF CONCEPTUAL PAPER “Education in times of crisis and emergency”

Description: Prepapation of a reflection paper on the topic at hand to be presented to the ministries and ministers of education of Council of Europe member countries, with a view to developing official recommendations on the subject.

Activity IV: DEVELOPMENT OF AN E-LEARNING COURSE ON THE TOOLKIT “EDURES”

Description: Implementation of an e-learning product to increase accessibility of the EDURES toolkit.
