The second part offers a cross-section of some structural analysis of Gorizia and its context: demographic trends; employment scenarios as a result of the fall of the border; development agency of the cross-border regions in Italy, Slovenia and Austria; and original functions to be attributed to the Ronchi dei Legionari airport as an airport for the trans-border regions.
The third part presents some projects and research on the role of Gorica in cross-border cooperation, direct with Nova Gorica and indirect with the Italian, Slovenian and Austrian regions.
