Period: 2018-2020

Description: The project (funded by the Interreg ALCOTRA program) aims to increase the knowledge of technicians, local administrators and the general public on the issue of dams, which is crucial for cross-border (Italy – France) mountainous territories, both in terms of management and prevention of related risks. Expected outcomes: 1. Development of a system for vulnerability assessment and monitoring of barrages, 2. Involvement and awareness of the population exposed to the risk of collapse.

ISIG activity: ISIG will contribute to the action of developing a vulnerability assessment system through the development of a dedicated self-assessment tool for local authorities.
