Content: This volume collects the materials and results obtained from the research conducted in the province of Gorizia during 2013: – information from entities, institutions, organizations, etc, which in different capacities deal with addressing the economic and social problems of families in difficulty, with special attention to actions specifically directed at children and youth; – elaboration and synthesis of the systematic collection of information from preschools and compulsory schools in the province; – information from sports and music associations or organizations in the province, whose activities specifically directed at the child and youth population are considered important elements in contributing to the overall level of well-being of children and youth. In addition to the research results, reports are republished, relating to the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, from two national surveys conducted in 2010:
– the 2010 “Okkio alla salute” survey, which every two years examines weight status, eating habits and physical activity in elementary school children (6-10 years old);
– the “Lifestyles and Health of School-Age Youth” survey, which in 2010 analyzed lifestyles and behaviors that condition present and future health in Italian adolescents aged 11 to 15. For information
